BACOLOD City – Four suspected drug peddlers were nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Caduha-an, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Six sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P6,000 were seized from residents Joemarie Meraiz, 41, Juvy Casalda, 32, and Antonio Meraiz, 37, along with Mary Joy Arbuis, 33, of Barangay Tortosa, Manapla, Negros Occidental, police said.
The suspects were caught after they sold a sachet of suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 around 4:25 p.m. on Aug. 23, the police added.
The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of the Cadiz City police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
