BACOLOD City – Four persons were arrested in a drug-buy operation in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
They were the 22-year-old Ranilo De La Cruz of Barangay Lantad, Silay City and Barangay Mambulac residents Leser John Sazon, 37, Ramie Lozanes, 33, and Ernesto Polvorosa Jr., 35, a police report showed.
They were caught around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday along Antonio Luna Interior, the report further stated.
Recovered from the suspects were seven sachets of suspected shabu estimated to be valued at P5,000.
Police also confiscated from them drug paraphernalia and the P500 marked money.
The suspects were detained at the Silay City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
