GUIMARAS – Forty (40) homeowners with a damaged house due to typhoon ‘Odette’ last December 2021 received P10, 000 each cash assistance last Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
The distribution was headed by Governor Samuel Gumarin and Vice Governor John Edward Gando. The cash assistance was given to beneficiaries with totally damaged houses, particularly in 13 homeowners from four barangays of Buenavista and 27 homeowners from three barangay of San Lorenzo.
This is the third batch of recipients who were given cash assistance.
To date, 99 beneficiaries from the Municipalities of Buenavista and San Lorenzo have received cash assistance from the Provincial Government of Guimaras after their houses were damaged when Typhoon Odette battered the island last December 2021.
This cash assistance was given by the provincial government to use to buy necessary materials for the repair of their houses. /PN
