ANTIQUE – Five families that burned their homes in Barangay San Angel, San Jose, Antique received financial assistance from the Antique provincial government.
Through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), Gov. Rhodora Cadiao send out assistance to the five families that lost their homes because of a fire last Feb 23.
The five families also received one housing toolkit, one food pack, four blankets, and one pack of used clothing.
“Duro gid nga salamat sa nagtugro kang bulig amu man kay Gov. Cadiao kahit papano may mga magamit kami nga bayo kag makaon kami”, said Melissa Mae De Asis, one of the victims.
The PSWDO also asked help from the barangay captain and kagawads to assist the victims in completing their needed documents for financial assistance.
“Nagapanawagan ako bukot lang rugya sa San Jose kundi sa bilog nga probinsya nga kun sin-o man may kabubut-on nga magtugro ka bulig kay naga kinahanglan gid kami kadya”, said Enrique Maza, barangay captain of San Angel./PN
