BACOLOD City – Five men charged with frustrated murder were caught along Repullo Street in Barangay 2, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified them as Joelito Alas, Reneboy Amacna, Joelito Barriga, Serlito Deguit, and Resty Deguit – all residents of Barangay Oringao, Kabankalan City.
Joint forces of the 15th Infantry Battalion and Kabankalan City police station nabbed the suspects on the strength of an arrest warrant around 11:40 a.m. on Friday, a police report showed.
They were detained in the custodial facility of the Kabankalan City police station.
The court recommended a bail bond worth P200,000 each for each of them./PN
