ILOILO City – Five men mauled him, a 25-year-old resident of Barangay Progreso, Lapuz district complained to the police.
According to Nador Orillo, he was attacked at around 11 p.m. on June 6 on Abanilla Street, Barangay Jalandoni Estate, Lapuz.
At the La Paz police station where he had the incident blottered, Orillo said he was walking home when two men suddenly came up to him and challenged him to a fight.
Three more men joined the two strangers and attacked him, said Orillo.
The men were not familiar to him, he told the police.
The men fled after the mauling.
Orillo sustained cuts and bruises on the face, arms and knees.
