ILOILO City – Five persons were arrested for alleged illegal cockfighting on Saturday in Barangay Jamog, Tigbauan, Iloilo.
The following suspects were detained at the Tigbauan police station: Rafael Morbo Jr., 57; Marciano Tagumata, 38; Reynaldo Tagom, 66 (all residents of Jamog, Tigbauan); Joaquin Unayao, 62, of Barangay Dapdap, Tigbauan; and Noel Tienda, 48, of Barangay Buyoan, Tigbauan.
They were arrested at 10:45 a.m. Police caught them in a cockfighting without a permit./PN
