ILOILO – Fifty couples took part in a mass civil wedding in Pototan town on Valentine’s Day.
Held at the town’s coliseum, the mass wedding was organized by the local government unit (LGU) and the Municipal Civil Registrar Office.
This was also in line with the celebration of the 34th Civil Registration Month, with the theme “CRVS: The Future of Seamless Service.”
Mayor Rafael Enrique Lazaro served as the solemnizing officer.
Among the witnesses were Civil Registrar Officer Mary Ann Segovia Jardeleza and Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office 6 officer-in-charge director Nelida Amolar.
The Pototan LGU also sponsored the wedding cakes and souvenirs, as well as the venue decorations./PN
