BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu weighing about 50 grams was recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2.
The suspected illegal drugs valued at around P250,000 contained in 23 sachets were confiscated from the 22-year-old Wendyl Satur and a 15-year-old boy.
Personnel from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) staged the sting operation on Wednesday afternoon.
PDEA agent Warren Portugal said Satur is a “high-value” drug target.
Satur and the boy were taken to Police Station 2. They were both charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Satur was detained in the police station’s lockup facility while the minor was turned over to the Social Development Center in Barangay Taculing./PN
