ANTIQUE – A pickup truck hit a motorcycle in Barangay Guintas, Hamtic, Antique, at around 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 29.
Vicente Perfas, 54, of Barangay Asluman, Hamtic died. He was driving the motorcycle.
The driver of the Toyota Hilux, meanwhile, was Glen Ford Billones, 36, of Barangay Poblacion, Tibiao town.
Billones was on his way home from Iloilo. His pickup swerved towards the other lane, causing him to hit Perfas before falling off a creek, according to Police Staff Sergeant Rymer Mabaquiao, investigator of the Hamtic Municipal Police Station (MPS).
Perfas was taken to the hospital but was declared “dead upon arrival”.
Billones is currently in the custody of Hamtic MPS./PN
