ILOILO – A 54-year-old man was found dead in Barangay Miraga-Guibuangan, Santa Barbara town around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2.
Jose Ronie Calinao Gil, a farmer and resident of the barangay, was believed to have accidentally come in contact with a live electrical wire.
“Nakita siya sang isa ka menor de edad sa isa ka bakante nga lote nga nakahaya kag unconcious dayon may nakalambod nga electrical wire sa iya kamot,” said Police Captain Jojo Octavo.
Gil was brought to the Western Visayas Sanitarium, also in Santa Barbara where was declared dead.
“Ang linya sang kuryente naga luyloy sa duta kag natabunan sang mga hilamon,” Octavo added.
Gil’s family has no plan to subject his body to an autopsy./PN
