ILOILO City – Five hundred sixty-four more police personnel were deployed to this city and several provinces.
These rookie cops were assigned to the following:
* Aklan – 93
* Antique – 16
* Bacolod City – 80
* Capiz – 42
* Guimaras – 18
* Iloilo City – 115
* Iloilo province – 125
* Negros Occidental – 47
* Regional Mobile Force Battalion – 28
According to Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) spokesperson, Police Lieutenant Colonel Arnel Solis, these downloaded police personnel had just finished their Basic Internal Security Operations Course (BISOC) and they younger.
“We need young officers to augment our police stations. They are well-trained in security operation,” Solis said.
BISOC developed and sharpened their values and attitude to be adaptable to any situation.
Solis said these neophyte police personnel are a big help in police visibility and in maintaining peace and order.
The PRO-6 is recruiting new police officers yearly to beef up its force.
“Kulang kita sang kapulisan kag may ara man naga-retire, nagakalamatay kag naga-AWOL. We need to replace them,” Solis explained./PN
