BACOLOD City – Six individuals ended up at a police station following an antidrug operation in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The suspects were Christopher Hermosura, 30; Terrence Yap, 27; Hamnon Mirza, 26; Lean Franz Rom Javelosa, 24; Gerard John Elarmo, 28; and Daryl Almeiz, 24.
An estimated five grams of suspected shabu worth P54,400, P4,500 in buy-bust money and drug paraphernalia were confiscated.
The operation was led by Lieutenant Col. Mark Anthony Darroca, local station commander, around 5:05 p.m. on Sunday, March 19.
Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against the suspects./PN
