BACOLOD City – Six persons were nabbed in a sting operation in Barangay 1, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Nine sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P15,000 were seized from Whisan Salem, 38, Stephen Vidaure, 25, Juan Miguel Sebido, 18, Vicente Magalona Jr., 47, and two female minors aged 16 and 17, a police report showed.
The suspects were nabbed after they sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer around 12:45 p.m. on Friday, the report added.
Cash amounting to P1,957 was also recovered from their possession, police said.
The suspects were detained in the custodial facility of the Kabankalan City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
