BACOLOD City – Four persons were arrested in a drug sting operation in Purok Sibucao, Barangay Banago.
They were identified as Jennifer Magbanua, Nerra Acibug, Franklin Belecina, Risty John Miravelence, Ludovico Sagal, and Nilo Boy Arcenio, a police report showed.
Recovered from their possession were 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 45 grams valued at around P306,000, the report added.
Personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental, Special Enforcement Team and PDEA-Iloilo staged the operation on the strength of a search warrant around 6:45 p.m. on Aug. 3.
The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 3, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (With a report from PDEA Region 6/PN)
