ILOILO City – Seven persons were rescued at sea after the motor boat carrying them capsized in the waters off Barangay Harique, Caluya, Antique.
Police identified them as Oscar Ducas, 33; Jake Radam, 28; Rolando Lumbo, 24; Cris Cadigal, 42; Thelma dela Cruz, 68; Maylene Sino, 32; and Raymund Sino, 40 – all residents of the village.
According to police investigators, they were all onboard a motor boat when the vessel suddenly went dead on water due to engine malfunction around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 3.
The victims were brought to the Rural Health Unit in Caluya for medical treatment./PN
