ILOILO City – Seven sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P44,000 were recovered in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Anoring, Sara, Iloilo.
The 27-year-old Jorge Balugal and 26-year-old Elvin Jon Castor yielded the suspected illegal drugs, a police report showed.
Balugal and Castor were nabbed after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P20,000 around 3:30 p.m. on July 29, it added.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Sara municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
