BACOLOD City – He drowned while swimming at a beach in Barangay Miranda, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The 71-year-old Rodolfo Gonzaga of Barangay Antipolo, Pontevedra suffered from hypertensions while dipping in the waters of Cassandra Beach around 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, the report further stated.
Gonzaga was brought to the Valladolid District Hospital in Valladolid, Negros Occidental where the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”/PN
