ILOILO City – In Barangay Ilawod Poblacion, Zarraga, Iloilo a 71-year-old woman was arrested in a buy-bust operation of the police.
Around 5:45 on Sunday, Pilar Selorio of Barangay Magancina, Santa Barbara town sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover police officer for P1,000.
She yielded four more sachets of shabu.
Selorio was taken to the Zarraga police station. She faces a charge for illegal drug possession and peddling.
Selorio was arrested about the same time a 42-year-old woman was busted for shabu in Barangay Tubungan, Barotac Nuevo town also on Sunday.
Josefina Doctora was a resident of Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Barotac Nuevo. The town’s policemen seized from her six sachets of shabu concealed in her underwear and bra./PN
