A total of 7,300 Iloilo City residents gathered at the Iloilo Sports Complex on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, for their orientation as beneficiaries of the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged / Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program through the efforts of Iloilo City Lone District’s Cong. Julienne “Jam-Jam” Baronda. They will render 10 days of work and will be paid P480 daily. Former mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog made a surprise appearance and rendered a song number.
