BACOLOD City – In Barangay 2 here, eight persons were nabbed for illegal cock derby.
They were Tongsa Golingay, Rodelyn Golingay, Joenil Calinsag, Dennis Sayson, Roberto Garfil, Melvin Poras, Mike Chester, and a male minor, a police report showed.
The suspects were apprehended by joint elements of Bacolod City Mobile Force Company and Police Station 2 around 11:15 a.m. on April 15.
Recovered from the suspects’ possession were three gaming fowls, five gaffs and P2,500 bet money.
The seven suspects were taken to the lockup facility of Police Station 2, facing charges.
The minor, meanwhile, was placed under custody of the Social Development Center./PN
