BACOLOD City – Eight policemen under the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) have been ordered suspended for 50 days by the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) for “less grave misconduct”.
NOCPPO spokesperson Police Lieutenant Judesses Catalogo said eight were assigned at the Silay City Police Station and their suspension order came into effect on July 16; it will last until Sept. 3.
Catalogo did not identify the eight cops who were all Police Non-Commissioned Officers.
The suspended cops were told to report to the Personnel Regional Holding and Accounting Unit at the Police Regional Office 6 in Iloilo City.
Catalogo added that the suspension stemmed from an administrative complaint filed in 2019./PN
