BACOLOD City – Eight sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P40,000 were seized in a drug sting in Barangay Tinampaan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The 21-year-old resident Joey Hipone Sarraga and 21-year-old Avon Mae Casiano Ante yielded the suspected illegal drugs, a police report showed.
Sarraga and Ante were nabbed after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, the report added.
The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of the Cadiz City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
