BACOLOD City – Nine persons facing arson charges were arrested in Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
They were Isaias Viray, 58; Enrique Nunez, 60; Noel Esporma, 56; Marlyn Ambolo, 51; Rolando Ortillo, 60; Paquito Nunez, 68; Rolando Paragat, 70; Jedy Despi, 58; and Carlito Postrado, 67, a police report showed.
The Murcia police nabbed the suspects around 1 p.m. on Sept. 24 on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Juvy Victoriano-Dioso of the Regional Trial Court Branch 49 dated Sept. 1, 2020.
The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of the municipal police station.
The court recommended a P40,000 bail bond each for their temporary liberty./PN
