ILOILO City – Nine sachets of suspected shabu were seized in an antidrug operation in Barangay Baybay Tanza, City Proper.
The buy-bust led to the arrest of suspected drug dealer Charlene Gabion, 36.
Gabion sold a plastic pack of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer for P750 at around 5:40 p.m. on May 28, a police report showed.
Eight more sachets of the same substance contained in a black pouch and a Cherry Mobile cellphone were further seized from her, the report stated.
Officers from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6, the Police Regional Office 6’s Regional Intelligence Division and Police Station 1 staged the operation.
Gabion faces charges for drug sale and possession – violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
She was detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 1 while the seized suspected shabu were turned over to the regional crime laboratory. (April Grace R. Padilla, Intern/PN)
