Bacolod City – In Barangay Estefania, a 9-year-old boy drowned in a river.
The victim went out swimming with his companions in the river when the incident happened, a police report showed.
His companions asked for help when they saw him lifeless around 4 p.m. on Nov. 8, the report added.
The Kabalikat Rescue Team responded in the area where the boy was declared dead./PN
