94 ex-rebels from Capiz get financial assistance

CAPIZ – A total of 94 former New People’s Army rebels from this province received government financial assistance under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).

Gov. Fredenil Castro, along with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 6 and Provincial E-CLIP Committee, led the distribution of P5,000 each to the beneficiaries at the provincial capitol on Tuesday, July 23.

Also present during the distribution were Deputy Administrator Enrique Martin of the province’s 1st District; Deputy Administrator Rosemarie Gardose of 2nd District; Capiz Public Information Officer Atty. Luvim D. Amores, also the concurrent head of the Provincial Human Resource Management Office; Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office personnel headed by Nieva D. Camposano; Capiz Police Provincial Office; Kabayan Action Group; and 12th Infantry Battalion and an 301st Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army./PN
