ILOILO City – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) busted a woman in an antidrug operation in Barangay Alibayog, Sara, Iloilo.

Angelica Padua faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, specifically for illegal drug possession and peddling.

She and companion Roman Dorde yielded two sachets of shabu on Wednesday around 1 p.m.

Dorde, however, managed to escape after realizing they were being entrapped by a PDEA operative, leaving Padua behind.

Padua was taken to the Sara police station.

Police said Dorde will be charged with illegal drug possession and peddling, too./PN
