BACOLOD City – A 70-year-old man committed suicide in Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Around 2 p.m. in his house on March 24, Reynaldo Ducay shot himself in the head using a .38 gun.
From what investigators gathered from family members, Ducay was depressed, said Superintendent Arturo Fullero, San Carlos City police chief.
Ducay was declared “dead on arrival” at a hospital where family members took him after discovering the suicide.
Fullero said family problems drove Ducay to kill himself. He did not elaborate./PN
