ILOILO City – The No. 2 most wanted person in Region 4-A was arrested in the island barangay of Semirara in Caluya, Antique.
The 46-year-old Isagani Edan, a murder suspect, was a native of Barangay San Roque, Sariaya, Quezon province. He was caught around 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Policemen from Quezon and Caluya served Edan’s arrest warrant issued by Judge Dennis Pastrana of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 55 in Lucena City.
Edan worked as company driver in Semirara where the country’s largest coal mine is located.
He was detained at the Caluya police station and would be transferred to Quezon province.
