ILOILO City – A murder suspect in Ajuy, Iloilo was caught hiding in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The 53-year-old Joey Azucena of Barangay Rojas, Ajuy was the No. 6 most wanted man in the municipality.
From the house of a relative in Barangay Luna, Cadiz City Azucena was taken to the city’s police station around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The police officers were armed with an arrest warrant issued by Judge Globert Justalero of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 66.
No bail bond was recommended for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
Azucena will be transferred to Ajuy anytime this week./PN
