ILOILO City – Everybody’s favorite ogre is in town to celebrate Easter with the Ilonggos.

Shrek, the beloved character from Dreamworks’ animation film, will grace Iloilo Business Park’s Easter Stomp and Romp event at 4 p.m. on April 16 at the Festive Walk.

This will be the first time that Shrek will visit Iloilo, Megaworld’s Harold Geronimo said.

Stomp and Romp will feature events for kids such as Egg Hunting and Costume Contest, among others. There will also be live performances by magicians and a meet and greet session with Shrek.

Festive Walk, which is a 1.1-kilometer retail and dining promenade, is part of Iloilo Business Park’s 72-hectare township in Mandurriao district, Iloilo City. Its first phase opened in December last year, featuring Ilonggo brands in retail and dining industry./PN
