ILOILO City – Fifteen years after he was charged with serious physical injuries, a man was finally arrested.
Alex Cordova, a 45-year-old resident of Barangay Poblacion, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo, was caught in Barangay Lipata, also in the same town, on Monday.
Around 11 a.m., Cordova was detained at the municipal police station.
Judge Federico Sindingan Jr. of the 5th Municipal Circuit Trial Court in Barotac Viejo issued the warrant of arrest.
For Cordova’s temporary liberty, the court set the bail bond at P6,000.
It, however, remained unclear as of this writing if Cordova was able to post bail./PN
