BACOLOD City – Murder charges have been filed against two suspects in the death of a minor in Barangay Felisa on Sunday dawn.
Police Station 10 operatives caught Roberto “Pol-pol” Orbena III, 19, also of Barangay Felisa and Jay-R “Jay-R Putot” Parillo, 26, Barangay Handumanan on Monday.
Senior Inspector Ramil Bustamante, Police Station 10 commander, identified the victim as Maxell “Isoy” Pineda, 16, of Barangay Cabug.
Pineda was on top of a tricycle and bound for home around 2:15 a.m. on Sunday when shot at Banggâ Totong, Barangay Felisa.
Pineda’s group, which attended the 24th Panaad sa Negros Festival, had a misunderstanding with the group of Orbena, Bustamante said.
Orbena threatened the other group that they would watch out for the latter at Banggâ Totong, said Bustamante./PN
