ILOILO City – Two merchandisers were arrested for alleged theft in a mall on Delgado Street, Barangay Danao, City Proper.
Mall security guard Reynaldo Catequista placed Joecyn Filoteo, 23, of Barangay Tanza Baybay, City Proper and Christian Camarista, 19, of Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao district under citizen’s arrest.
Catequista caught Camarista taking two deodorants worth P439.50 and Filoteo taking another deodorant worth P209.75 from their warehouse and bringing the items to their lockers around 9:25 p.m. on May 16.
Camarista and Filoteo were turned over to Police Station 1, where they were detained./PN
