ILOILO City – An argument over a family problem drove a man to stab his younger brother in Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao district.
The 40-year-old Albert Generoso, confined at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district for a stab wound on his left arm, told the police his 42-year-old brother, Roberto attacked him.
The stabbing happened inside their house Friday last week around 5:45 a.m.
It was unclear what the brothers were arguing about. Neighbors told the police they heard Albert shout for help.
Roberto fled after stabbing Generoso.
“The victim told us he would refer this matter to their village officials,” said Chief Inspector Lea Rose Peña, Mandurriao police chief./PN
