“Take the best orgasm you ever had,
multiply it by a thousand and you’re still nowhere near it.”
– Irvine Welsh “Trainspotting”
FOR THE “yellow ribbon devotees” every calamity – man-made or otherwise – that affects the Philippines becomes an excellent opportunity to bash President Rodrigo Duterte and the more destruction or casualties the better for them.
Take note that in times of adversity almost all civilized nations of the world stand together, setting aside political differences and unite for their country, i.e. the terrorist attacks in Paris and just recently in Manchester, England.
Sadly, that’s not the case in the Philippines. The “yellow ribbon devotees” and the rest of the social climber idiots are just waiting for anything untoward to happen and immediately on cue they start bashing President Duterte.
This is beyond just being a sore loser who cannot admit defeat despite the fact that the “yellow ribbon devotees” did all they can using the power of their demi-god, then President Noynoy Aquino, to manipulate the elections.
Of course, we know that the manipulation of the Precinct Count Optical Scanners or PCOS machines managed to shave five million votes from Rodrigo Duterte’s 21million votes; still he won by 16 million votes and it was too overwhelming for the “yellow ribbon devotees” to make Mar “Daang Matuwid” Roxas win.
Bringing President Rodrigo Duterte down at all cost has become an obsession, a mania and in the process it does not matter if it brings the Filipino people and the country down.
I suppose with such high stakes as the freedom of Noynoy, Butch, Frank, Sonny, Jun, and Leila it is imperative that Duterte is replaced with Leni.
The survival of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, ABS-CBN and the minnows like Maria Ressa and Rappler, Raissa Robles and down the pecking order the has-beens that never was – Jim Paredes, Leah Navarro and Cynthia Patag – also depends on the fall of Rodrigo Duterte.
Fanning hatred against President Rodrigo Duterte among the trendy social climbing idiots in Manila is topmost on the agenda of the “yellow ribbon devotees” and these gullible idiots lap it up as “Digong” is apparently not “sosyal” and disente enough for these morons.
Which brings us to the crisis in Marawi City wherein terrorist belonging to the ISIS wannabe Maute group attack the city, burning buildings, shooting and kidnapping the residents forcing down their throats their perverted brand of extreme Islam.
President Rodrigo Duterte had just arrived in Moscow for an official state visit when the crisis erupted, prompting him to immediately cut short his state visit and declared martial law in the entire island of Mindanao, including Basilan and Tawi-Tawi.
Almost simultaneous, the bashing and blaming of President Rodrigo Duterte started when the attacks by the ISIS wannabe Maute group on Marawi City came out on the six o’clock news.
It makes one wonder if the Marawi City attacks were financed by the “yellow ribbon devotees” as a desperate attempt to embarrass and bring down President Duterte; the timing with his official state visit to Russia is uncanny.
For the sensible discerning fellow, the timing and target of the attack is highly questionable; one, it’s almost Ramadan, the holiest month of the year for the Muslim faithful. Question: Why would the Maute group all claiming to be conservative Muslims disrupt the sacred month of Ramadan and instead of preparing themselves to celebrate that holy month they kill fellow Muslims; and second, why Marawi City, it’s almost predominantly populated by Muslims and that city is considered a safe sanctuary.
The attack has all the makings of some politicians who hate Duterte and want to play Jihadist.
And the funniest thing of all is that when President Rodrigo Duterte placed the entire island of Mindanao under martial law, the loudest complainants are not even from Mindanao.
We have the usual suspects, i.e. the so-called leftist groups or professional rallyists, the “yellow ribbon devotees”, gullible trendy students of the usual schools who started demonstrating in Manila of course against the martial law in Mindanao while the people of Mindanao welcome it.
The mood in Mindanao is a sigh of relief; finally we have a President with “black balls” willing to fight for his people and doesn’t really care if the people in Manila like it or not.
Lest you forget people, those complaining against President Duterte’s declaration of martial law in Mindanao are not doing it for love of country but love of themselves.
These people have never gotten over their bogeyman, former President Marcos, and cannot distinguish between the 1937 and the 1987 constitutions version of martial law.
These people cannot also accept the fact that as President it is the sworn duty of Rodrigo Duterte to save the republic and uphold the Constitution when it is under threat.
At the end of the day, “Take the best orgasm you ever had, multiply it by a thousand and you’re still nowhere near it.” These lines best describes their hatred for Rodrigo Duterte and the ecstasy they will feel if ever he falls. (brotherlouie16@gmail.com/PN)
