BACOLOD City – A 53-year-old resident of City Heights Subdivision, Barangay Taculing was hauled to the Police Station 6 jail.
Indian national Raymundo Lizada was caught wielding a homemade .38-caliber pistol loaded with five live bullets, a police report showed.
Someone working at the 420 Stop ’N’ Shop convenience store tipped off the police about the presence of Lozada in the village around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Responding Police Station 6 officers led by Senior Police Officer 2 Alexis Disomangcop arrested Lozada.
Lozada failed to show documents proving his legal ownership of the gun, police said.
He was facing a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
