BACOLOD City – A farmer was killed after he was allegedly ambushed by an unidentified suspect on Sunday morning in Sitio Amparo, Barangay Mabini, Escalante City.
Rolando Ohoylan Mahilum, 53, a resident of the place, sustained gunshot wounds on his head and died on the spot.
Investigation disclosed that he victim went to his farm when the incident happened.
Four empty shells of a .45-caliber pistol were recovered by the police at the crime scene.
The Escalante City police is still investigating the incident to determine the motive of the killing and identify the suspect./PN
