ILOILO City – Police have yet to identify and arrest the suspect in the fatal shooting of a resident of Barangay Tarong, Carles, Iloilo.
The 51-year-old Joven Bernal was hit on the right side of his neck, a police report showed.
He was taken to the Jesus M. Colmenares District Hospital in Balasan town but he was declared “dead on arrival.”
Police said the incident happened around 6 p.m. on Saturday. The unidentified suspect used a 12-gauge shotgun.
Officers were still trying to determine the motive as of this writing./PN
