BACOLOD City – A farmer who was a homicide suspect turned himself in to the Bais City police.
The 24-year-old Reynan Daitan, a resident of Barangay Sab-ahan in the city, was accused of stabbing Willie Casile to death on Saturday.
Daitan, who was the victim’s nephew, claimed he stabbed Casile as self-defense.
Police said the suspect was waylaid by the victim. In return, Daitan stabbed his uncle as self-defense using the double-bladed weapon allegedly owned by the victim.
Daitan also surrendered the bladed weapon.
