ILOILO City – The Iloilo City Health Office (CHO) is encouraging the public to visit it or its district health centers for services “from head to toe.”
The program dubbed as “I Love You Todo-Todo, Halin sa Tiil Hasta sa Ulo Para sa mga Ilonggo” aims to provide free access and bring health services closer to city residents.
“The CHO has programs for almost all parts of the human body, from the foot up to the head. These programs have long been ongoing but Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog wants to again let the public know of the services we offer,” said CHO head Dr. Bernard Caspe.
CHO’s programs include the following:
- medical check-up
- treatment for mental health, lung, coronary artery or heart, liver, stomach/ intestines, pancreases, scrotum and penis, bones, skin, fungal
- eye care
- dental care including tooth extraction and oral health.
“For mental health, the CHO also offers rehabilitation through the Community Change Centers called The Crossroads in seven districts as drug treatment program,” said Caspe.
CHO also formulated programs for children including the following: - Infant and Young Child Feeding
- Complimentary Feeding
- Exclusive Breast Feeding
- Expanded Program on Immunization
- deworming
- treatment of injury
- nutritional which includes Operation Timbang and rehabilitation of malnourished children. (Iloilo City PIO/PN)
