‘Shoplifting’ spree Supermarket items seized from Bacolodnon woman

ILOILO City – Various items, mostly toiletries, were seized from a resident of Bacolod City who took them from a supermarket in Mandurriao district without paying for them, a police report showed.

The 37-year-old Suzette Magbanua of Barangay Bata, Bacolod City was detained at the Mandurriao police station custodial facility.

Magbanua took the following items without paying for them at the counter, the police report stated:

  • two 236 ml bottles of Aveeno Baby Daily Wash and Shampoo worth P334.75 each

  • eight 200 ml bottles of Cetaphil baby shampoo, P244.75 each

  • 12 30 ml bottles of Vitress cuticle coat, P78.75 each

  • four 10.5 oz bottles of Aveeno shampoo, P474.75 each

  • five packs (250 sheets) of Kamoi fly paper, P21 each

Magbanua placed the items in a shoulder bag and casually walked out of the supermarket, the police report stated.

SM City supermarket selling assistant Lenhyll Jun Gabaleo and security guard Gerardo Nadales caught her and turned her over to the Mandurriao police.
