ILOILO City – Arevalo district’s No. 17 most wanted person was arrested in Barangay Sto. Niño Norte.
Attempted homicide suspect Federico Bonales, 24, went without fuss with the policemen who served his arrest warrant on Wednesday afternoon.
Bonales’ alleged crime was committed in May 2013, according to the Arevalo police.
He allegedly stabbed a man who “nagbastos” (made fun of) his wife.
Judge Alexis Zerrudo of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities, Branch 3 issued Bonales’ arrest warrant on May 15, 2014 yet.
He set Bonales’ bail bond at P12,000, said Arevalo police chief, Senior Inspector Tranquilino Querubin Jr.
As of this writing, however, it was unclear if the suspect was able to produce the money for his temporary liberty./PN
