ROXAS City – Police ruled out foul play in the death of a man who committed suicide in Barangay Tanza.
Roxas City police identified him as the 26-year-old Jerry Pagurayan of Barangay Tambunak, San Enrique, Iloilo.
Pagurayan was found lifeless hanging from a mango tree beside a house where he is temporarily residing with a nylon rope tied around his neck, a police report showed.
Pagurayan’s body was found on Nov. 25, police said.
Before the incident, Pagurayan went to a fortune teller to have his “future” predicted, his neighbors told the police.
The fortune teller told Pagurayan that he will die before reaching the age 30.
