KALIBO, Aklan – Great music from the country’s best bands will rock the Hala Bira Ati-Atihan Nights in this capital town.
Popular Filipino rock bands Siakol, 6Cyclcemind, Banda ni Kleggy, and Gracenote will take the center stage at Magsaysay Park from Jan. 17 to 20.
Siakol – composed of James Rodriquez, Manuel Rovera Palomo, Anthony Cervantes, and Chris Lawrence Flores – will perform their hit songs Tropa, Ituloy Mo Lang, Kabilang Mundo, and Bakit Ba on Jan. 17.
6Cyclemind lead vocalist Tutti Caringal, rhythm guitarist Rye Sarmiento, bass guitarist Bob Canamo, lead guitarist Herbert Hernandez, and drummer Vic Aquino, on the other hand, will perform back-to-back with DJ Gavin Skewes on Jan. 18.
On Jan. 19, Banda ni Kleggy will perform its songs Kurakot, Mahal Kita Pramis, Discolamon, Darating, Bawal sa Gamot, and Umay Songs.
The band’s lead vocalist Kleggy Abaya, rhythm guitarist Berns Cuevas, bass guitarist Bobby Canamo, drummer Raffy Bonifacio, and lead guitarist Rye Sarmiento are set to rock Kalibo with DJ Kouta Kotsuma.
Filipino alternative rock band Gracenote will fire up Ati-Atihan on Jan. 20 with DJ Lois Vint. The band – with lead vocalist Eunice Jorge, drummer EJ Pichay, bassist Jazz Jorge, and guitarist Tatsi Jamnague – will perform its hit songs Knock Knock, Gusto Ko, Minsan Lang Naman, Taciturn, and Amnesia.
