Two PBA teams soon to become âsistersâ?
BLIND ITEM 1: While covering a 2017-2018 PBA Philippine Cup game recently, we heard from the grapevine that the two competing teams that time will soon be sister teams.
A source told Buzzer Beater that Team 1 is currently negotiating with Team 2 to acquire not just its PBA franchise but also its company here in the Philippines.
As early as January, 2018 ma–fo-formalize na ang bentahan,â the source said.
Once the deal is formalized, it will become the third sister group in the league aside from the San Miguel Corp. group and the Manny Pangilinan faction.
âI think, once the deal is signed, sealed and delivered, it will also be good for Team 2, especially with the way it is being handled by its management now,â the source said.

Blind item 2: While the supporters of a collegiate basketball team are rejoicing over reports of having a new head coach, members of the team still does not want to believe unless the head coach formally starts his training with the team.
âIt is hard to say right now kung sure na or hindi,â a team insider told the Buzzer Beater.
The source added that the said coach has relayed his desire to move to the school weeks earlier but had a change of heart after talking to the big boss from his previous school before expressing again his desire to move.
