ILOILO City – Cosplayfest 2014 is getting more and more attention as Jesuke Jes of Singapore, a popular international cosplayer, is set to grace the event on Sept. 20 at SM City Iloilo.
Cosplayfest 2014 is presented by Multimedia Arts and Graphics Ensemble (MAGE), Inc.
The said event will feature cosplay enthusiasts not only from Iloilo, but also from other provinces in Western Visayas who will definitely enjoy the various contests coupled with big prizes.
Jesuke, who started cosplaying in 2006, expressed her happiness to be invited as a guest for the Cosplayfest 2014 in Iloilo City.
She shared her fondness in watching anime back when she was still a kid which eventually drove her to pursue her passion in cosplay.
Wrapped with the obsession in cosplaying plus gaining her family’s support, she later became one of the popular personas in the field, not just in Singapore but to other countries as well.
Also, she shared that it was through cosplaying that she was able to learn a lot of things aside from creating her own costumes, props and even make-up. Her sense of fashion also experienced major make-over as she continued to chase her hobby.
Cosplayfest 2014 is anticipated as one of the biggest cosplay event in the region. It will be highlighted with Cosplay Hero Contest wherein contestants ramp on the stage wearing their anime costumes. They will be judged based on their stage presence, character impersonation, and intelligence in answering the question given.
