BACOLOD City – A local government employee was found dead in Hacienda Santa Ana, Barangay Palampas, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Superintendent D’ Artagnan Katalbas, officer-in-charge of the San Carlos City police station, identified the employee as the 48-year-old Rey Baquiller of Barangay 6, San Carlos City.
Baquiller was a casual worker at the San Carlos City government, police said.
His body was subjected to a post-mortem examination after it was found on Sunday.
Results showed that Baquiller was hit on the head using a hard object.
Police have yet to identify the motive and the suspect in Baquiller’s death./PN
