BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Bais City, Negros Occidental.
Inspector Minard Carbona, head of the Bais City Drug Enforcement Unit, identified the man as the 21-year-old Jumarie Acabal of Barangay Tinaogan, Bindoy, Negros Oriental.
Police caught Acabal after he sold shabu to an undercover officer for P500 around 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
When frisked, Acabal yielded one more sachet of shabu, police said. His cellular phone was confiscated, too.
Acabal was detained at the Bais City police station custodial facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
